Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert was born January 27 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist, and a former official in government. Heather served as Spokesperson for the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is an think-tank for conservatives.



 



 Before joining the Department of State she was a Fox News correspondent and news presenter. From March through October of 2018, Nauert worked as the Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy during the Trump administration. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
